Waynesville Explodes with Weekend Events

Art After Dark and A Taste Of Chocolate...what more can you ask for in one weekend? The first Friday of every month starting on May 1, showcases all of our wonderful galleries and studios in downtown Waynesville, NC. All of them have special venues for the evening and you can stroll at your leisure. The uniqueness and diversity of all of our artists is what makes our town stand out.
Who doesn't love chocolate. We serve it regularly at Andon-Reid Inn whether it's a brownie hot fudge sundae for our dessert at breakfast or our decadent flourless chocolate tort for the afternoon delight. A Taste of Chocolate is
an evening of sweet delights to benefit the Haywood-Jackson Volunteer Center. This year's event will be held at the Maggie Valley Country Club. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door. In addition to chocolate, guests will be invited to sample coffee at the coffee bar, visit the wine or milk bar and bid on an array of silent auction items to be provided by area businesses, artists and crafters. Entertainment throughout the evening will be provided by Empty Slate and takeout boxes will be available for purchase.

All in all there are always so many things to do in western North Carolina and especially in our quaint town of Waynesville.

Rachel Reid, Very Happy Innkeeper
