Before Ron and I became the lucky Innkeepers of Andon-Reid Inn Bed and Breakfast we had been personal trainers in South Florida. It was very important to us that we held on to those skills and incorporate them into our bed and breakfast. There are very few inns, where the guests can have a Fitness Studio and 2 certified personal trainers at their beckon call. We get questions all the time about specific exercises, goals, nutrition habits and what machines to purchase for home use. We love it and so do our guests.
Recently, I added a new client who found me through my best friend Patricia Becker, who is a Massage Therapist and Wellness Coach in Boca Raton, Florida. Julie is from Waynesville and has a goal to lose 150 pounds. Patricia and I are working together with Julie to set goals on a monthly basis in several areas that will impact her in a positive way. In order to not only lose this amount of weight, but to keep it off, it is necessary to have a cohesive and motivational plan. We are incorporating strength training, cardiovascular training, nutritional education and wellness coaching which celebrates who you are by taking advantage of strengths you already possess and using them to invest in your greatest asset in which case is Julie! We are into our second week and have already lost 7.5 lbs! Julie is extremely determined to lose this weight and incorporate all the tools that Patricia and I have been giving her. I will keep you updated on Julie's progress throughout this journey.
