Every year, twice a year, in Spring and Fall, there is a fabulous motorcycle rally and ride through the Great Smoky Mountains. Thunder in the Smokies Spring Motorcycle Rally will be held on April 23-25, 2010 at the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds in Maggie Valley, North Carolina.

Friday gates open at 11am with vendors, bike builders, music and food. Starting at 6:30pm there will be bands such as Thunderfoot and the Alabama Blues Brothers plus Fire Dancers. Saturday the gates open at 9am with free tour rides, a bike show, bike games and music. At 4:00-4:30 there will be aerial dancers plus American Idol finalist Amanda Overmeyer from 8:30-10:00pm. Sunday morning starting at 9:00am there will be a pancake breakfast plus a church service with live gospel.

Wheels Through Time, an All-American motorcycle museum houses over 300 of America's rarest and most historic classic motorcycles, with over 24 marques on display, including the likes of Harley-Davidson, Indian, Excelsior, Crocker, Henderson, and much more.
The museum will be open all weekend.
