June 20 - Father's Day. Celebrate with the Sunday Concert Series held at our library or listen to the Swannanoa Chamber Music held at the Performing Arts Center.
June 25 - Mountain Street Dance in downtown Waynesville - Enjoy an old fashioned mountain hoe down. There will be music, dancing in the streets, food and more.
June 26&27 - Cold Mountain Heritage Tour - Self-driving tour of area historic sites with guides at each location to describe the location's history. This will mark the 6th year and sadly the last. It's a must see!
July 2 - Art After Dark - Art After Dark transforms Downtown Waynesville into an exquisite visual, culinary and performing arts center, the first Friday evening of each month from May until December.There are few destinations in the mountains where can you find such a wide breadth of talented artisans and craftsmen in a single location. All participating galleries are open until 9 p.m. Refreshments are offered to all patrons and many of the studios treat visitors to live music played by our local bands and musicians.
