The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band formed in Southern California during the spring of 1966 as a scruffy, young jug-band. Forty-two years later, the quartet (Jeff Hanna, Jimmie Fadden, Bob Carpenter and John McEuen) is still going strong.John McEuen, founding member of this band is known for his diverse skills on banjo, fiddle, guitar and mandolin. He is my favorite. These pioneers of country rock are still influencing musicians today with their multiple Grammy Award–winning songs including the landmark "Will the Circle Be Unbroken".
You can visit the Biltmore and go to the concert for a great price of $88/person. If you only want to see the concert, the cost is $58/person.
Andon-Reid Inn Bed and Breakfast is only 30 minutes away from this live concert and we have one room left for the weekend. Enjoy the music from this great band then come back to the Inn for some rest and relaxation.
