Geocaching In Waynesville, North Carolina From Andon-Reid Inn

So what exactly is this geocaching anyway? I've been reading about it for the past couple of years and it sounds like a real adventure. Sort of  like orienteering in the 21st century, but instead of a compass you use a GPS...technology. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online.

This past week we had some guests stay with us who had about 10 different caches they wanted to find in the area. They kept inviting me to go along with them and today I had some time. What a blast!  All the caches were close to our bed and breakfast and they were all different. Some we found and some we didn't.

Do any of you geocache? Is that something you would like us to offer as a package? Let us know, I think it would be a lot of fun!
