Experience the world of gingerbread at the national gingerbread house competition held at the Grove Park Inn from November 15, 2010-January 2, 2011.
There are "Stories of Gingerbread"guided tours where you can go behind the scenes and learn about the construction , judging and display itself.These tours are offered Wed-Saturday at 9am and 3pm. Adults-$10
A brand new activity that is being offered will be creating your own gingerbread cookie. "Baking Memories" Gingerbread Cookie Workshops are being offered Wed-Sat at 10:30am and 1:30pm. Adults-$10
The annual National Gingerbread House Competition kicks off the holiday season with the wonderful aroma of cinnamon, ginger, allspice and cloves.You'll also find all those wonderful smells in our North Carolina bed and breakfast where we are known for the sumptuous breakfast we serve.
