Many of you have already heard that my wife Rachel passed
away last month. She was diagnosed with a rare and fast-acting cancer. And although Rachel was a private person,
despite being an outgoing and cheerful innkeeper, I believe very strongly that
she would want us to carry on with what we have built here at the Andon Reid
Inn. Friends and business associates have come forward to help me with the
day-to-day operations.
I ask that you continue to support our business, social
media and marketing efforts in a way that Rachel would have wanted it to be carried
on. Future social media and blog posts will be forthcoming from a local professional, very familiar
with our property and surrounding area. And I hope you understand that with my
focus on the business, I simply don’t have the time to entertain phone calls or
emails. I am truly grateful for the support and encouragement from all of you.
Ron Reid, Innkeeper at Andon-Reid Inn our Bed and Breakfast in Waynesville, North Carolina

I am saddened to hear this news. Rachel was a lovely person to work with, share recipes from & help promote your beautiful inn. You have my sincere condolences & prayers during this difficult time. My thoughts are with you.
ReplyDeleteRon, I am so saddened by Rachel's passing. Rachel was a wonderful person, a dynamo and the best baker/cook I ever met. I'm glad we got to visit last fall, we shared many happy memories growing up and that evening. I will always remember her warm smile and energy.
